Who I am
My name is Jehan Ganachaud and my pronouns are he his him.
Trained as a clinical mental health counsellor in the USA, I define myself professionally as a mental health practitioner. (If you are not sure what the difference between counsellors and other therapists is, I tried to explain in this article).
I am a relational therapist, which means I see the therapeutic relationship as being the foundation for therapy.
I am a White Cisgender Heterosexual French American Male living in an Able Body. I live in the UK with my wife, our two children, and our dog.
Between&Within
Between and Within describes for me the process of therapy, growth, and life.
We are interconnected beings within systems. Change, growth, meaning, and healing happen within a relationship.
In a relationship there is what happens inside of me, inside of you, between us, and what emerges from our relationship.
