More about me

If we work together, I will get to know a lot about you, and I think it is thus fair you know some information about me. To me, this is about trying to make the therapeutic relationship as equal as possible.

I also think identity is so important, as it may give you some ideas about how I have navigated the world so far. A longer article on identity and why it matters is here.

As you may have seen on the about me section, I described myself as a White Cisgender Heterosexual French American Male living in an Able Body. I can add to this that I am also a father, a husband, a brother, an uncle, a mental health practitioner, and a friend.

I am spiritual and religious. I have a master’s degree in biology and neuropsychopharmacology, although I haven’t really kept up with it since I graduated in 2013. I also hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.

I speak French as my mother tongue and still very much enjoy the German language. English is my third language, but having lived and studied in the USA and in the UK, I mainly use English to communicate.

My professional interests are: trauma, giving tools to community to promote self-healing, trauma-informed systems, and systemic practice.

Professionals areas I am interested in developing myself further: systemic practice, supervision, EMDR, somatic approaches, neurofeedback, integrating spirituality, working with individuals part of the kink community.

I am a live-long leaner and always keen to develop myself as a human being and as a therapist. I am keen to be open with the people I work with as I find it important to be genuine and authentic in relationships.
